1. Our Core Privacy Paradigm
Flash Connect is built as an offline-first, local-only peer-to-peer (P2P) integration tool. Traditional software routes clipboard records, notifications, and file payloads through remote servers. Flash Connect operates exclusively over your local area network (LAN), using direct TCP and UDP sockets.
Because your data never leaves your physical local subnet, we do not operate a cloud database, we do not require account registrations, and we do not collect or monitor the files you transfer.
2. Information We Collect
Personal Data: None. Flash Connect does not request your name, email, phone number, credentials, or billing details.
Transmission Payloads (Files, Clipboard, Audio, Screens): All device-to-device streaming data is transmitted directly via encrypted local sockets. None of this data is cached, intercepted, or processed by any external server.
Telemetry and Analytics: We do not embed analytics SDKs, trackers, or telemetry modules in our Windows setup packages or Android APKs. No usage logs are transmitted back to us.
3. Local Storage
Flash Connect saves pairing metadata (such as device names, public keys, and IP configurations) locally on your PC and Android storage. This data is utilized solely to facilitate automatic pairing discovery when both devices connect to the same Wi-Fi subnet.
4. Security
Connections between your Windows PC and Android phone are negotiated locally. Flash Connect enforces TLS encryption over local TCP sockets to protect data transfers from snooping by other devices connected to the same local network.
